Dragon airbrush painting, part 2

Managed to finally finish the painting, so didn't really snap progress photos at this point, with this one exception...

Had fixed up some mistakes here, and started adding colors over the black and whites. Seemed to work, so I continued onwards...

After a few hours of airbrushing, managed to create this as a result. Took me 12 hours in total... But it was worth it, despite some things I'd liked to try fix some more, but ehh... Maybe next one will be better.

Throne Room project continues...

Yup, worked more on the toilet room's wall painting... Here's bit of progress since then:

 So, mostly just added the yellow stripes to the flags and banners here. Then left it to dry out completely for the next day...

 A bit of experimental painting on one of the panels, to see which way is better to make it look just like marble... or close to it. Just painted lines on it with black, then over them slightly with white...

And here, started painting the black details on everywhere as well bit on the first painted panel... Should be able to put down some whites around next week, then.

More dragons!

 Heh, been a bit on the mood of drawing dragons and whatnot lately. Here's couple quickies drawn and painted in SAI:

Dragon airbrush painting

Thought I'd try something else again with my airbrush, so I dug up this old panel from my pile-o'-junk and started painting away...

 At first I made a quick sketch with pencil (which is kinda hard to see), and started airbrushing shapes over it...

 Adding details over general shapes...

 Finished with background. Next, adding some white...

 ...and here we go. Still gotta fix it up with some black before starting to add colors, but this is the result so far after about four hours of freehand painting.

Boredom and airbrushing

So, got little bored today, so I tested around some stencils I had made, trying to make some flames and stuff... Didn't quite work out though:

Just means I'll have to practice more. Maybe next time I'll get something better done...

 Anyhow, got kinda bored painting flames after a while, so I put in some black color and started figuring out what I really can do with it... After about hour or so, and adding some white for details, I had this.
